Perfect Crown

So where did episode 10 leave us...

Prince Ian is on his way to the throne room to accept his nephews abdication when he decides to make a detour to meet with Prime Minister Min. Huiju is walking the palace grounds when a fire erupts from the council hall, dun dun dun and Prince Ian is inside passed out!

Before finishing the episode I did guess that Priminister Min was going to be the big bad and that he would reveal his hand. 

It kind of makes sense they would build up to him being the big bad since the Queen mother seemed to be more a protective mother and her dad was ruthless but the writers left the lines blurry. But Mr Broken heart minister is the perfect mix of power, restraint and desperation to build the plot towards our weekend finale. Also him dropping the rosary at his father's tomb felt like such a big red flag of him transitioning to be the villain. I will say I thought his was on a 'resist the devil and he will flee' path when he fought back against the Queen mother. Like he was going to do what was best for Huiju and the country, not follow his long hidden feelings. Anyway he's officially unhinged. An alternate ending of Ian's princely restraint in a way. 

Given we got a preview of EP.11 we know that:

1. Prince Ian survives the assassination attempt, because Huiju takes him out or maybe it wasn't an attempt on his life but just one to get him weak enough to be out of power.... 🤔 

2. PM Min attempts to/convinces the Queen mother to become regent after spreading rumours that Ian is dead

3. Huiju begins to distrust the PM

What might come:

1. Huiju has a battle of wits with her soon to be ex friend PM min.

2. Coronation ceremony - since we already had a royal wedding.

3. Time skip to three years later to make sure they don't get divorced. 

4. Assistant couple becomes official or we get atleast one more cute scene.

5. Lord Inpyeong goes to jail but the Queen mother just steps down. 

Questions:

1. Will the populace ever love Huiju?

2. Will Ian be beloved once again?

3. Why did Ian's older brother suck at his job so much, can we see something nice about him?

Can't wait to watch the two new episodes, and see if my predictions come true. ...

Mw trying to figure out the writers are going to wrap everything up and make top the ratings!
